Join us on January 7th to learn about custom grazing cover crops on cropland from South Carolina farmer Jason Carter and scientist Buz Kloot! Jason worked with local cattle owner Kenny Mullis to incorporate livestock on his cropland and earn additional income from grazing cool season cover crops. The partnership benefited Jason by increasing soil organic matter and supplementing income from his cash crops and allowed Kenny to rest his pastures. Jason and Buz will share the lessons they’ve learned so far and advice for other farms that are interested in custom grazing.
